Our History

Our History

The Boys & Girls Club of Waco was established in 1909, making us the oldest Club in the state of Texas. Today, we have two branches to serve the youth of Waco.  We offer our programs and services to all young men and women, ages 6-18, at our two branches. Our Clubs provide a van route in order to facilitate transporting members from their schools to the Clubs throughout the school year, giving our members a safe place to grow, learn, and play.

We strive to enable all young people, especially those that need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Working together with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, we are committed to creating great futures for young people.
